Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin congratulated Saratov University on Victory Day.

‘On May 9, with special feelings of gratitude and deep respect, we honour the veterans of the Great Patriotic War. Those who went through terrible hardships and trials, fought selflessly at the fronts, worked in the home front. We bow our heads to the courageous and strong-willed heroes who saved the Motherland, crushed fascism, and gave peace to future generations.

It is a great honour and great responsibility to be the heirs of a victorious generation. And we will do everything so that the heroic deeds of the heroes are not forgotten, so that millions of our citizens live in a strong and prosperous country,’ the Chairman of the Russian Government wrote.

Mikhail Mishustin wished the university staff to stay healthy, successfully work for the good of Russia, live in peace, and be prosperous.
