The signing of a cooperation agreement between the Rectors’ Union of Saratov Region, the regional branch of the youth all-Russian public organisation and the Saratov Region Committee on Youth Policy took place in Pavilion No. 75 at the stand of Saratov Region. The document was signed by Alexei Chumachenko, Angelina Belovitskaya, and Sergei Kulik. The agreement is timed to coincide with the 65th anniversary of the student brigades movement and the 20th anniversary of the Russian Student Brigades Youth All-Russian Public Organisation.

The distinguished activists of the student brigades were awarded wrestling shirts. They were received by Ksenia Mikhina, a student of the Faculty of Psychological, Pedagogical, and Special Needs Education, Kirill Shironin, a student of the Faculty of Law, and Ulyana Kruglova, a student of SSTU.

On the same day, a meeting of the organising committee for the preparation of the 32nd Russian Student Spring All-Russian festival was held at the Youth House at VDNH. As the main event the countdown of the festival was launched.

‘Saratov is preparing for the main student festival. We will definitely surprise the guests not only with amazing performances, but also with interesting and socially significant projects that the participants will prepare. Alexei Chumachenko, Angelina Belovitskaya, and Chair of the Russian Youth Union Pavel Krasnorutskii pressed the symbolic button that started the countdown to the festival of youth and talents.

In 2024, the festival will be held from May 26 to June 1 in Saratov and will become one of the most massive youth student contests in Russia.

The symbol of the upcoming festival will be a model of the Vostok-1 rocket. It was in such a vehicle that the first cosmonaut of the planet Yuri Gagarin landed in Saratov Region. The Vostok-1 art object was installed at VDNH and has now become part of the Saratov Region exposition. The 2024 Student Spring will be dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of the first cosmonaut of the planet Yuri Gagarin and will be held under the slogan Closer to the Stars.
