For the first time SSU has made it to Round University Ranking (RUR) taking a high position among 67 Russian universities. There were overall 763 higher education institutions from all over the world.

 

In a world ranking SSU has been rated 595, in Russian - 19, being ahead of Korolev Samara National Research University, Saint Petersburg State Electrotechnical University, Kazan National Research Technological University, Ural Federal University and others.

 

Three top lines are occupied by Lomonosov Moscow State University, MEPhI National Research Nuclear University  and Tomsk State University.

 

The ranking is determined by the indicators in four criteria: teaching, research, international diversity and financial sustainability. SSU has got the highest score in teaching (54,282 points) that allowed it to enter RUR bronze league and rate 338 among all the universities on this criterium.

 

Also SSU occupies line 66 among the world universities in academic staff per bachelor degrees awarded.
