SSU was congratulated on its 110th anniversary by President of the Russian Rectors’ Union, Rector of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Full Member of the Russian Academy of Science Victor A. Sadovnichy.
‘Your university has come a long and glorious way, you have organised and participated in remarkable events and achieved a lot, so today you can be proud of the best pages of the university history, its authoritative research schools, outstanding professors and scientists who have made a great contribution into the development of education and research.’
Victor Sadovnichy added, in his opinion, the long-established university would preserve its sustainable positions among the leading Russian universities. He wished the university staff would develop, preserve the traditions of the Russian higher education, and set new goals and achieve them.
