Vilde, Maria Vladimirovna was born in Saratov in 1974. She graduated in Mechanics from Saratov State University and then did graduate studies there receiving her PhD in 2000. Her scientific interests are concerned with elastic body vibrations, asymptotic methods in shell theory, acoustic waves’ dispersion. She has published her works in major Russian and foreign scientific journals such as Journal of Acoustical Society of America, Journal of Sound and Vibration, etc. Today, she is a Professor of the Department of Mathematic Theory of Elasticity and Biomechanics.
