District School of VFD Student Brigade Leaders Held in SSU

From March 26 to March 28, Saratov University hosted a district school for leaders of university student brigades of Volga Federal District. It was attended by about 230 students from 14 regions of Volga Federal District, including activists of the Headquarters of SSU Student Brigades.

The organizational program included seminars, trainings and master classes aimed at developing students' leadership qualities. Heads of staff mastered the skill of building strong teams capable of consistently demonstrating a high level of professionalism.

Vice-Rector for Youth Policy and Organisational work Anton Golovchenko acted as the speaker of the district school and told the fighters about grant competitions, as well as about the rules for the design and implementation of projects.

In turn, the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, SSU, Professor Lyudmila Aksenovskaya gave a lecture, where students learned about the secrets of the correct positioning of themselves in the team, the main qualities of a leader and his functions.

The next lecture by L.N. Aksenovskaya read together with Lecturer of the Department of General and Social Psychology Aleksei Sharapov. At it, experts shared their knowledge in the field of corporate culture formation, touching upon such topics as features of team management and factors of personal growth of a leader.

A Saratov guest, the leader of medical student brigades Christina Sidorova also took part in seminars. She listed the most current trends in the development of the NNO, indicating the prospects that will open up for the participants of the youth movement in the future.

Within the framework of practical training, students had to pass an introductory test in management skills and mandatory certification based on the results of training. In addition, the university activists were to become participants in the discussion of the unified information agenda of the Russian Student Brigades.

Another important event in the program of the district school was the working meeting of the Deputy Minister of Youth Policy and Sports of Saratov Region Angelina Belovitskaya with representatives of the central and regional headquarters of the Republic of North Ossetia. The main topic of the conversation was the discussion of the joint project "All-Russian school of first aid for student teams".

‘Such open meetings have become a tradition for a long time. Our region remains the center of attraction for large and interesting youth projects. The Saratov regional branch of the RNO is a strategic partner of the regional ministry for the implementation of youth policy. A number of large-scale projects and programs are being carried out together with students. We hope for our further fruitful cooperation,’ Angelina Belovitskaya marked.

Christina Sidorova, in turn, drew the attention of the audience to the fact that the fighters of the Saratov regional branch have repeatedly confirmed their status as the best at regional and all-Russian events.
