About the invited expert: Sonja Lyubomirsky is one of the leading positive psychologists in the world, professor of psychology at the University of California at Riverside; author of several books: The How of Happiness: A Scientific Approach to Getting the Life You Want (Penguin Press, 2008), The Myths of Happiness: What Should Make You Happy, but Doesn't, What Shouldn't Make You Happy, but Does (Penguin Press , 2013), “The How of Happiness. A New Approach” (Penguin Press, 2014); her research on the potential for ever-increasing happiness has been recognized by the John Templeton Foundation Grant, the Science of Generosity Grant, the Templeton Prize for Positive Psychology, and a Million Dollar Grant (with Ken Sheldon) from the National Institute of Mental Health.
About the invited expert: Ruut Veenhoven is a Dutch scientist, pioneer and global expert in the scientific research of happiness, in the subjective enjoyment of life in general. He is Professor Emeritus of Social Conditions for Human Happiness at Erasmus University in Rotterdam, Netherlands, where he works for the Erasmus Research Organization for the Economics of Happiness. Ruut Veenhoven is considered to be one of the world's most renowned experts in the field of happiness. He is the author of numerous monographs, the co-editor of the Journal of Happiness Research and the director of the Worldwide Happiness Database. The main goal of his research is to find paths to greater happiness for more people.
About the invited expert: Tal Ben-Shahar is an author and lecturer. He taught two of the largest classes in Harvard University’s history, "Positive Psychology" and "The Psychology of Leadership." His books have been translated into more than thirty languages, and have appeared on best-seller lists around the world.
Tal consults and lectures around the world to executives in multi-national corporations, the general public, and at-risk populations. The topics he lectures on include leadership, education, ethics, politics, happiness, self-esteem, resilience, goal setting, and mindfulness. His books in the area of Positive Psychology have been translated into more than twenty-five languages. He is the co-founder and chief learning officer of The Happiness Studies Academy and Potentialife.
An avid sportsman, Tal won the U.S. Intercollegiate and Israeli National squash championships. He obtained his PhD in Organizational Behavior and BA in Philosophy and Psychology from Harvard.
