Goals and Objectives of ERC

 

The main goals of ERC are:

 

- improving quality of education and scientific research at IHIR;

 

- expansion of IHIR international contacts with universities and academic communities of CIS and Baltic countries;

 

- development of new cforms of cooperation with educational and research centers in the sphere of studying Post-Soviet space in Russia and former Soviet countries;

 

- foregrounding  of the issue of Eurasian integration.

 

The main objectives of ERC are:

 

- development and foregrounding of general reserach and education programs of IHIR and universities of CIS and Baltic  countries, and standartization of higher education in Post-Soviet space;

 

- formation of ERC library fund including electronic full-texts data bases of Russia and the former Soviet countries;

 

- organization of the exchange of graduate and postgraduate students and teachers of the IHIR and universities of CIS and Baltic countries;

 

-  establishment and development of contacts with Russian speaking population and centres of national culture in Post-Soviet republics and spreading of Russian language and culture;

 

- information support of international work, conduction of international projects, involvement of students and teachers into IHIR international work, support of ERC website;

 

- organization of advanced courses of foreign languages learning at ERC (languages of CIS and Baltic countries being a priority);

 

- meeting other objectives according to the University Regulations.

 

Functions of ERC

 

The main functions of ERC are:

 

- planning and conducting research;

 

- planning and conducting international scientific events;

 

- impelementing federal research and education programs:

 

- impelementing interuniversity research and education projects;

 

- participating in domestic and foreign grant programs.
