Journal History: In 2011-2017 the journal was published as a multidisciplinary journal titled Student Self-Study Management. It contained the results of multidisciplinary research of organizing students’ autonomous work by experts in pedagogy, psychology, sociology, foreign languages and other disciplines. In 2018 the Editorial Board decided to make a special emphasis on the research of theory and practice in managing and directing autonomous foreign language learning and teaching. At present it is titled Student Self-Study Management in Foreign Language. Language of publication: Russian, English The goal is to highlight the results of the latest investigations in the field of the theory and methodology of managing and guiding students in their effort to learn a foreign language. The objectives: • to cover the most significant results of the theory-based practices as well as practice-oriented aspects in organization of student independent work across the world; • to describe the advanced technologies enhancing learners’ autonomy in mastering foreign languages; • to identify the effective tools for self-control and teacher control of student self-study. The journal is intended for bachelor, master and doctoral students, university lecturers and school teachers and to all those interested in the problems of teaching and learning foreign languages Indexing: the journal is registered in RISC (elibrary). |
