The SSU educational program for the preparation of CDO - Chief Data Officer, implemented at the university for educational managers with the support of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the University on 20.35, became the winner of the All-Russian award "The Future of the Financial Market: Digitalization" in the nomination "The Best educational program in the Digital Economy".
Recall that among the 11 universities where CDO Project and Practice Centers were opened last year, only Saratov University implemented an industry program focused on the educational sphere. From November 15 to December 15, 2019, 240 educational managers from Saratov, Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl, Chelyabinsk, Belgorod regions, the Chechen Republic and Stavropol Krai were trained at Saratov University. The university educational program was built in such a way that students acquired real skills in data-based management, knowledge of trends in technology development and public administration processes, skills in strategic management of people and organizations, setting tasks and organizing the process taking into account industry specifics, basic technical skills, including working with a digital footprint. The regional management teams formed during the training have developed more than 30 projects in the field of data-based management, taking into account the best international, federal and regional practices.
The high level of this educational project was marked by the All-Russian Prize "The Future of the Financial Market: Digitalization", held within the framework of the All-Russian cultural and Business Platform "Digital Ball", which annually unites students, young professionals, companies and leading experts for the joint formation of the scientific and technological future of Russia. The expert team evaluating the competitive applications this time brought together experts on the digital economy from the Bank of Russia, Sberbank, the Guild of Financiers, the Financial University, RANEPA, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, Finam investment Holding, Fintech Lab accelerator and top digital startups.
At the ceremony of awarding the finalists of the award, the team of Saratov State University was represented by the head of the office of priority projects and Programs M.V. Erokhina. The educational project itself was developed and implemented under the supervision of the head of priority projects and programs E.G. Elina and united into one team the specialists of the Center for Projects and Practices of the SSU CDO, the Institute of Additional Professional Education, Educational Management, the Faculty of Psychology, the Center for Support of Gifted Children, the Faculty of Nano- and Biomedical Technologies, the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, the Institute of Philology and Journalism; the key educational partner of the University was the School business "Dipole".
