On the evening of June 1, the Saratov delegation of the Russian Student Spring returned from Perm. The students with victories and prizes in the nominations were met by Head of the Directorate of Regional Holidays and Festival Programmes Dmitrii Bolshakov, Deputy Minister of Youth Policy and Sports, Head of the Department for Youth Policy of Saratov Region Angelina Belovitskaya, the SSU Student Club “family” headed by Director Mark Pinkhasik, and university students.

‘I wanted to see the fourth Grand-Prix in a row, but our guys are great anyway! They coped with all the tasks, and their performance was “strong”. It is nice that the whole Russia is watching us and competing with us. Next year, we will have a big responsibility. Colleagues are leaving now and writing, See you in Saratov,’ Dmitrii Bolshakov said.

Director of the Student Club Mark Pinkhasik came to personally meet the creative students of Saratov State University at a late hour. ‘We are pleased with the results and the overall trip. The students returned with good results and gained valuable experience. Finally, we waited for Saratov to be recognised as a city ready to host the festival! And, next year, Saratov will become the centre of the Russian Student Spring,’ Mark Pinkhasik rejoiced.

Tired but happy, the participants of the festival showed their well-deserved trophies to those who met them, hugged, and shared their impressions.

Alexander Yefimov, Deputy Director of the SSU Student Club, summed up the results of the trip. ‘We did not take the Grand-Prix, but we took the Student Spring to our home. And now everyone is back inspired and happy, and it was a cool experience for everyone. Many of the participants of this year will become members of the organising committee of the festival next year, because it should be done by those who have seen it.’

A 3rd-year student of the Institute of Philology and Journalism Anastasia Udintsova shared her impressions. ‘It was super! And, of course, we got unforgettable emotions. The best experience is only on the RSS. I think every student should attend this festival at least once. For example, this year, I have been at the contest for the second time.’ To remind, Nastya and Egor Privalov became the third in the Video. A Documentary about the City nomination.

Sophia Atsigeida and Adema Umarova, a student and graduate of the Institute of Physics, said that the fashion trend was one of the strongest. ‘It is cool that we were even given the opportunity to perform with our collection of clothes at the gala concert: this is an indicator that everything was not in vain. We are glad that we succeeded together,’ the girls said, under whose leadership the team became the winners of the 3rd degree in the Fashion nomination.

Nikita Krivosheyev, a student of the Faculty of Economics, said. ‘We are glad that we managed to win the prize in the overall team competition and show the programme. Next year, at home, I hope we will be able to show the best result.’
