SSU Student Club Conducted 2022/2023 Final Concert

At the end of the academic year, this season of the SSU Student Club has also ended. On May 22, the closing ceremony of the 61st season took place on the stage of Bldg. 10.

Vice-Rector for Youth Policy and Organisational Work Anton Golovchenko recalled how bright and unique this creative stage was in his address to the artists of the Student Club and the audience of the concert. ‘The closing of the cultural club is a time to check the clock and remember how many big and bright events have passed this year. These are the Delphic Games, and the second place at the Regional Student Spring. We have improved our results, increased the number of creative teams. We see that more and more students are involved in cultural and mass work!’

He wished success to the Student Club and asked its participants to be ambassadors of creativity next year.

Aleksei Dyakonov, who appeared on stage in the image of a cheerful clown, set the mood for the concert program. Together with him, the whole hall sang, laughed and took pictures. Alexey tried himself as a photographer by borrowing a camera from Svetlana Artamonova, a photographer at the SSU Office of Media Communications. The clown tried to sell the camera, but still returned the equipment to the owner.

This evening, on the main university stage, Alexander Zhumagaliyev (the Institute of Chemistry) sang the song Toxic together with the dance group of modern dance Look at them. A student of Faculty of Fundamental Medicine and Medical Technologies Elizaveta Dubinkina performed a step dance, her creativity was also presented by the KNFam dancing group of modern dance and street styles.

The performances of the Lumos Maxima dancing group and a trio of performers Alina Mirzoyan (the Faculty of Philosophy), Alexander Zhumagaliyev (the Institute of Chemistry), and Anastasia Malysheva (the Institute of Arts) left vivid impressions on the audience of the concert. The Mon Cheri Fashion Theatre showed a colourful program, despite the fact that according to the script, robbers tried to steal their outfits right on stage.

A student of the Institute of Physical Training and Sports Artyom Flyagin and Alice Serova performed a dynamic ballroom number, a beautiful show was shown by the Experiment Territory studio. The Art-mix dancing group of modern choreography performed the dance of the peoples of the far North entitled Hadye. Anastasia Buldygina (the Institute of Arts) sang the song Step accompanied by the Lumos Maxima dancing group.

The performances were interrupted by the awarding ceremony of the prize-winners of the university and regional Student Spring in the following sections: Media, Magic, Drama, Singing, and Dancing. The best in each of them received diplomas and pleasant gifts.

The host of the evening, Arts Director of the SSU Student Club Mikhail Vinogradov announced the creative summer shift of the Student Club, which will take place on July 12-15 at the Chardym student health camp. In addition, Mikhail urged to cheer for the team of the Saratov delegation, which would soon go to the Russian Student Spring in Perm.

Head of the Student Club Mark Pinkhasik awarded the best cultural traders of this year: Anna Rudneva (the Faculty of Law), Irina Leonovich (the Faculty of Psychology), Sofia Atsigeida (the Institute of Physics), and Vitalii Ageyenkov (the Institute of Philology and Journalism).

Anton Golovchenko presented awards to the best structural units based on the results of the competition of cultural work for the 2022/2023 academic year: the Faculty of Psychological, Pedagogical, and Special Needs Education took the third place, the Faculty of Law – the second place, the Institute of Physics was the first, and the Institute of Philology and Journalism got the Grand Prix.

The festive evening ended with the performance of the SSU band with the inspiring song Apple, to which all the dance groups that took part in the concert rose to the stage.
