By February 1, high school pupils must apply for the Unified State Exams in 2023. Enrollees have very little time left to decide on the choice of their future profession.

Saratov State University is one of the leading universities in the country, which successfully continues the more than century-old traditions of its own scientific schools, increasing and enriching the teaching experience.

Everyone will find a place in SSU, according to their interests. Seven institutes, thirteen faculties, Balashov Institute, and two colleges are waiting for their future students. You can take any of 59 bachelor's degree, 8 specialty, and 47 master's degree courses. Their list is available on the university's website.

Since the beginning of the year, open days have been held in all the institutes, faculties, and colleges. At such meetings, enrollees will learn about curricula, entrance tests, and the enrollee rate of the previous year, get acquainted with changes in the 2023 admission rules, etc.

During the 2022 admissions, about 23 thousand people applied for the university, of which about 8,500 were received via the superservice of the Admission to University Online Public Services portal.

The Faculty of Fundamental Medicine and Medical Technologies is ready to accept the third cohort of students, where future biophysicists, biochemists, and biocybernetics who are in demand on the labour market are trained.

At special courses at the Institute of Pre-University Education, SSU, the university teaching staff help students prepare for the Unified State Exams and the General State Exams.

On February 2, the second semester of the SSU Pedagogical Classroom begins for high school students of Saratov and the region who are interested in teaching. According to the results of the final testing, the course participants will receive certificates, and the best graduates will receive recommendations for targeted training in pedagogical courses. This year, 511 schoolchildren have signed up for training. Classes are held once in a fortnight. Education for schoolchildren is free.

For high school students who want to join university life in advance, there are special courses: the School of Journalism, the School of Young Psychologists, the School of Young Translators, the School of Young Chemists, and the Geographical School.

The admissions will begin on June 20. You can get acquainted with the admission rules for bachelor's, specialist's, and master's degree courses in the special section of the website.
