SSU Journals Included into “White List” of Authoritative Scientific Journals

The interdepartmental working group of the Russian Ministry of Higher Education and Science, which included representatives of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Russian Centre for Scientific Information, the largest domestic universities and research organisations, chose and approved a list of authoritative scientific publications.

The “White List” includes 30,040 Russian and international scientific journals. Including the following of Saratov University:

 

Izvestiya VUZ. Applied Nonlinear Dynamics,

Izvestiya of Saratov University. Mathematics. Mechanics. Informatics,

Izvestiya of Saratov University. Physics,

Speech Genres,

Povolzhskiy Journal of Ecology,

Current Studies in Herpetology.

 

The “White List” consists of the core of Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI). All these publications are included in RSCI. The following journals – Izvestiya VUZ. Applied Nonlinear Dynamics, Speech Genres, Povolzhskiy Journal of Ecology, Izvestiya of Saratov University. Mathematics. Mechanics. Informatics, and Izvestiya of Saratov University. Physics – are indexed in the Scopus database. And Izvestiya VUZ. Applied Nonlinear Dynamics and Izvestiya of Saratov University. Mathematics. Mechanics. Informatics are also included in the Web of Science database.

The “White List” is planned to be used when evaluating the effectiveness of scientific organisations, according to formal criteria. Today, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education is forming a system of levels (ranking) of journals within this list.

The full list is published on the special website of the Russian Centre for Scientific Information. Also, there are available a list of journals with entry marks in RSCI, DOAJ, as well as international abstract databases and scientific citation indexes.
