Participate in Video Contest and Receive Awesome Prizes from SSU

A video contest for International Students' Day starts on social networks. Everyone can shoot a video about the university and their student life and send it to the SSU social media editorial office.

The best videos will be posted on the official SSU channel on Rutube. The winners will be chosen depending on the largest number of views and comments to the video. The three winners will receive prizes from the university. And the Audience Award will be given to one of the 10 popular videos, in the SSU group in VK, where a special voting will be held.

You can apply for the contest from November 7 to November 21. From November 23 to November 30, viewers and subscribers of the Rutube channel will be able to view and leave comments to their favourite videos on the SSU channel. The results will be summed up on December 1.

You must submit videos on topics related to Saratov University – We Are at SSU, I love SSU, At SSU Like at Home, At Classes at SSU, In the SSU Buildings, Student Life at SSU, In the SSU Dining Rooms, SSU Campus, and others. The videos should show the university and student life from the positive side. The video can be shot in any genre in a horizontal format: video clip, animation, sketch, or survey. The video formats are MOV, MP4. The minimum video resolution is 720x480 (12:8 cm). Duration – up to 1 minute.

Each video will be evaluated by the mutual number of views and comments. The three videos with the highest number of points will be included into the top three winners-list. Everyone who participates in the competition and comments the videos must be subscribed to the SSU channel.

The Audience Award will be given to the winner of the online voting in the SSU group in VK. It will be launched on December 1. All winners will receive cool prizes with the symbols of the university.

The videos for the contest must be sent via the special Yandex.Form.
