Saratov University has received a congratulatory address on National Unity Day from Deputy Chair of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitrii Medvedev.

‘This holiday is an important reminder of the events, the lessons of which are of great importance for the citizens of modern Russia. As it was more than four centuries ago, the Fatherland expects from us unity and steadfastness, courage and mutual assistance, loyalty to the ideals of patriotism.

Today, it is our duty to work with full dedication for the good of the Motherland, to defend its security and independence, to fight back, and to support our compatriots. Cherish the traditions of great ancestors, the memory of whose feat inspires us to new achievements.’
