On September 23, a rally-concert of the Combat Brotherhood regional branch took place on Theatre Square in support of a special military operation, the decisions made by the Russian President Vladimir Putin, referendums in the People's Republics of Donetsk and Luhansk, Zaporozhye, and Kherson Regions.

The event was attended by the regional governor Roman Busargin. The delegation of Saratov University was represented by Rector Aleksei Chumachenko, vice-rectors, professors, and students.

The concert was filled with uplifting patriotic songs. Musical performances alternated with performances by public figures, among whom were a deputy of the Saratov Regional Duma Alexander Yanklovich, a deputy of the State Duma Nikolai Pankov, Chair of the Youth Parliament at the Saratov Regional Duma Sergey Shatalin, a journalist of Donetsk State Television Olga Kilchenko, and Chair of the Combat Brotherhood Sergei Avezniazov.

To remind, from September 23 to 27, the People's Republics of Donetsk and Luhansk, as well as the liberated territories of Kherson and Zaporozhye Regions, will hold referendums on joining Russia.
