Aviator Gymnasium hosted the plenary session of the PRO.Education 64. Vectors of Development regional educational forum. Saratov University was presented by Rector Aleksei Chumachenko and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Chair of the Saratov Regional Branch of Pedagogical Society of Russia public organisation Igor Malinskii.

In the assembly hall, there gathered the teachers awarded with All-Russian awards, participants of the Rural Teacher project, a delegation of educational employees of Svatov District of the PRL, as well as teachers of the regional centre and the region.

The Webinar Lesson was opened by Acting Governor of Saratov Region Roman Busargin, he welcomed the participants and guests of the forum. Also, the acting governor spoke about the renewal of Saratov schools, innovations in education, which would be used from September. The bringing up of schoolchildren would be changed: patriotic orientation of learning would be conducted using cognitive resources.

‘In connection with innovations, responsibility increases. We all want both children and parents to feel comfortable. So that schoolchildren will successfully get not only knowledge, but also the basic values that form real citizens of the country,’ Roman Busargin said.

Deputy Prime Minister of Saratov Region, Minister of Education of the region Mikhail Orlov made a report on the ideology of modern education: reality and prospects. He outlined the main educational issues of the region, ways to solve them using federal programmes, and the results – improving the quality of education with the help of regional concepts and the development of the infrastructure of educational organisations.

Mikhail Orlov's proposal to introduce the training of teachers in areas where there is their shortage was supported by applause. In addition, he announced changes in the law On Education in the Russian Federation: the term “educational service” has been removed from Russian legislation and replaced with the terms “the financial support for the implementation of syllabi” and “the financial support for the implementation of state or municipal tasks”.

‘This year, we are working very closely with Saratov University, which is implementing the Teacher in the Educational Paradigm project. We supported the implementation of the Virtual Pedagogical Classroom project. At the forum, we signed an agreement with the university, according to which now every teacher in addition to a mentor from the school will have a mentor from Saratov University, and in the next three years they will accompany their graduates,’ Mikhail Orlov said.

The most important part of the forum was the speech of Russian Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov. He stated how significant it is to introduce patriotic education and get more knowledge of the history of the Motherland from the first grades. The forum participants had an opportunity to talk with Sergei Kravtsov and ask him questions, the answers to which they immediately received.

The report on the role of higher education in the development of the region was delivered by Chair of the Council of Rectors of universities of Saratov Region Victor Cheplyayev. Deputy CEO for Personnel and Protocol of Signal JSC A Marat Mukhomodyarov made a report on new approaches to the training of qualified specialist, in which he highlighted the advantages of the personnel cluster model. The last report was presented by Chair of the Saratov Regional Branch of the Russian Movement of Schoolchildren Tatyana Kenig.

At the end of the plenary session, the participants of the forum were awarded with badges and letters of appreciation of the Russian Ministry of Education for conscientious work, achievements, and merits in education. Mikhail Orlov presented SSU Rector Aleksei Chumachenko with a letter of appreciation from the Ministry of Education of Saratov Region.
