On August 5, at the pedagogical networking, young teachers met with the Deputy Minister of Education of Saratov Region Irina Chinayeva.

The guest was introduced by the Head of Priority Projects and Programs of SSU, the curator of the summer networking Professor Elena Yelina. ‘Irina Chinayeva was a student of our university, one of the best, and today is one of the leading managers of education in Saratov Region.’

Irina Chinayeva shared the facts of her biography which are inextricably connected with pedagogy. After graduating from the Rovnoye secondary school, she took a target place at Saratov University. For 20 years, she worked as a teacher of the Russian language in secondary school No. 9 of Volga District, for 10 years as a social pedagogue, and then as a deputy principal.

‘Apparently, this experience helped me in choosing the path of a manager. I have worked in education for more than 12 years: I started as the chief specialist of the district division, then became the Deputy of the Saratov Education Committee, and now I am a deputy minister. Do not be afraid of the offers that come in. Many of those who have achieved high leadership positions were teachers at one time, because teachers know how to organize their work. And the one who knows how to conduct a high-quality lesson will be able to cope with any task,’ she commented on the stages of her career growth.

The deputy minister dwelt in detail on the implementation of the Education national project, due to which the regional schools are equipped with new equipment; the County Teacher federal programme aimed at employment and social support of teachers in remote areas of the region. Irina Chinayeva spoke about the region's participation in the Navigators of Childhood 2.0 All-Russian competition, as the result of which a new position to the staff of the educational institution will appear – an adviser to the principal in education and interaction with children's public associations.

During the conversation, the issue of school unification was raised, which would solve the problem of the shortage of qualified personnel, strengthen work with talented children from remote areas of the region. To this end, according to the deputy minister, it is planned to open the the Sirius Centre for Talented Children at Saratov Engineering Lyceum in 2023.

The participants of the meeting listened with interest to the speech of the her and asked questions about the possibility of improving the infrastructure of their educational institutions, participation in the following competitions for teachers – The Teacher of the Year, The Pedagogical Debut, I Give My Heart to Children – as well as forums, re-training courses, etc.

In conclusion, Irina Chinayeva wished the summer networking audience success and professional heights. ‘Only love for children could bring you to school, and, in my opinion, this is the most suitable site to succeed.’
