Saratov University will host the Young Teacher in the Modern Educational Environment summer pedagogical networking from August 2 to August 5. Young teachers of Saratov and Engels, as well as Saratov Region and Labytnanga are invited to participate.The SSU researchers and school teachers from Saratov and Moscow will become the summer school teachers.

The networking will become a venue for teachers' interaction, for interactive “living” and understanding of modern pedagogical technologies. Its members will learn about the psychology of modern schoolchildren, the pedagogy of cooperation, digital technologies in education, work with talented children, and the competencies of a modern teacher. The audience is waiting for master classes, lectures, a digital hackathon, an interactive workshop, co-working, a speech session, and a case study.

The school will be devoted to the work of teachers of the new generation. On August 2, teachers will discuss the From History to Modern Professional Image topic. On August 3, the master classes will be dedicated to the new technologies of interaction in the educational environment. The next day, the participants will sort out new projects and typical mistakes. On August 5, the teachers will discuss the prospects for the development of the school in the 21st century. In addition, on the final day, the students will meet with the Deputy Minister of Education of Saratov Region Irina Chinayeva.

Guided by the tutors, the participants will prepare group projects and make PechaKucha presentations on the If I Were a Principal topic.

After graduating from the school, the teachers will receive certificates of advanced training of the Institute of Continuing Professional Education, SSU, and special prizes from the All-Russian Trade Union of Education Saratov Regional Organization.

The Young Teacher in the Modern Educational Environment summer pedagogical networking is part of the strategic project titled The University as a Centre for Continuing Education of Teachers Using Social Practices of the 21st century (The Teacher in the Educational Paradigm), which is supervised by the Head of Priority Projects and Programmes Elena Yelina. The project is included into the Priority 2030 programme of state support and development of universities.
