On July 24, an article about Nicholas Chernyshevsky dedicated to his birthday was posted on the official channel of Saratov University on Yandex.Zen.

It is devoted to Chernyshevsky’s life in Saratov. We once again return to the places he visited: the estate on Chernyshevsky Street, St. Sergius Church, which has not survived to this day, St. Nicholas House, where the philosopher and writer spent the last months of his life. The memoirs of Chernyshevsky by the writer's contemporaries are given.

The expert opinion was shared by the Professor of the Department of Russian and World Literatures, the Institute of Philology and Journalism, Aleksei Gaponenkov and the Director of the Chernyshevsky Estate Museum Elena Manova. They commented on Chernyshevsky's life in Saratov and about the writer's company.

Special attention in the article is paid to the reasons and the history of naming Saratov University after Nicholas Chernyshevsky in 1923.
