From March 21 to March 24, Saratov University will host the Week of Pedagogical Education IX Research-to-Education Festival, the topic of which is The Young Teacher: Modern Challenges and Prospects.
The plenary session on the topic The Young Teacher, Experienced Teacher, Teacher of the Future: The Search for Agreement will begin on March 21 in the Assembly Hall of SSU Bldg. X at 10.00 a.m. It will be attended by the acting SSU rector Aleksei Koronovskii, Chair of the Board of the Key International Cultural Institute Anna Yevsina (the Czech Republic), a teacher of biology at Moscow School No. 1465, a junior researcher at the Laboratory of Individualisation and Lifelong Education of Moscow State Pedagogical University Dmitrii Loginov, and Head of SSU Priority Projects and Programmes Elena Yelina.
Within the framework of the Week of Pedagogical Education, three discussion platforms will operate: The Young Teacher and Social Networks, The Young Teacher: Is It Necessary to Teach a Researcher?, and Besides the Lesson: Everyday Life of a Young Teacher. We are waiting for students on March 21 at 12.30 p.m. in SSU Bldg. XI.
Life hacks for a young teacher promise to be very interesting: The Adaptation of a Young Teacher: A Friend among Strangers, a Stranger among Friends, The Time Management of a Young Teacher, and The Social Rights of a Young Teacher. These meetings will be held on March 22 from 14.00 to 15.30 p.m. in SSU Bldg. XI.
The Step into the Profession student competition of pedagogical skills starts on March 22 and will be held online. On March 24, the I would become to counsellors... counsellor gathering is planned. On the same day, the results of the Step into the Profession competition will be summed up.
On March 23, at 12.00 p.m. in SSU Bldg. XII there will be hosted the Future Professionals – The New School Olympiad in Pedagogy for undergraduates.
On March 23, at 10.00 a.m. in the SSU Assembly Hall a meeting with the Minister of Education of Saratov Region Mikhail Orlov will be organised. It will focus on employment opportunities, working conditions, and the rights of young teachers. The minister is ready to answer students' questions.
The Week of Pedagogical Education this year is held in person. Students are invited – future teachers, psychologists, representatives of other specialties and areas, and university teaching and other staff.
