On November 26, Moscow hosted a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Russian Student Sports Union (RSSU), where Rector of Saratov University Aleksei Chumachenko and Director of the Institute of Sports and Physical Training Nailya Brilyonok.

There the RSSU and SSU solemnly signed an agreement on establishing mass media – the Physical Training and University Sports research journal. The document was signed by Rector of Saratov University Aleksei Chumachenko and President of the Russian Student Sports Union Sergei Seiranov. The signing of the agreement became a part of implementation of the Interdisciplinary Programme for the Development of Student Sports.

Director of the Institute of Sports and Physical Training, SSU, Nailya Brilyonok made a speech at the meeting of the RCCS Executive Committee on the publication of a research journal. The editor-in-chief of the publication became Sergei Seiranov, Rector of Moscow State Academy of Physical Education, a member of the Russian Academy of Education.

At the end of the official part of the event, the traditional Student Sports Star Ball was held in Academy Moscow Concert Hall. The concert continued with the awarding ceremony of those who showed high achievements and made a great contribution to the student sports movement in 2021. Saratov University was included into the list and was awarded in the Education and Sports nomination.
