I heartily congratulate you on Defender of the Fatherland Day!

The most valuable thing in our life is peace and stability, and, therefore, this holiday remains significant and important at all times. It is a symbol of courage, selflessness, dignity, and honour.

Our memory and the memory of future generations will forever retain the heroic deeds of the warriors-defenders, men and women, whose boundless devotion to their fatherland and love for the Motherland gave us a peaceful sky. Their courage and heroism are immortalized in books and films, their names are engraved on memorials. Every year we recall with warm feelings and gratitude the heroic deeds of the students and the staff members of Saratov University who selflessly went up the line during the war.

However, even in peacetime, we proudly congratulate everyone who works for the benefit of their university, city, region, and country. A special contribution to the common cause is made by scientists whose projects are aimed at strengthening the authority and power of Russia. Due to the efforts of pedagogues, professors, and young researchers, Saratov University tries to preserve the historical heritage and continue the glorious traditions.
