Raisa Nazarova will remain in the memory of colleagues and students as a beloved leader – both research and administrative, who always knew how to maintain the necessary proportions of style, high human dignity, and female beauty.
Raisa Nazarova was a person of exceptional charm and impeccable communication skills: she knew how to communicate with people of different ages and different social classes. Such people are easy-going. But this ease was the result of an extremely serious, thorough, and always deeply thought-out attitude to life, to the assigned work, and to the faculty. The Faculty of Foreign Languages and Language Teaching Methods, which was headed by Raisa Nazarova, during the years of her deanery became one of the leading at the university. She always stayed in touch with her graduates and was proud of their successes. She was one of the first at the university who responded the call about the demand in teachers in remote areas of Saratov Region; she organised long-term student internships in those areas.
Having passionately performed administrative work, Raisa Nazarova was seriously engaged in research. She was interested in speech etiquette and methods of teaching English, the use of features of different art types (painting, music) in the classroom, she wrote research papers on her own and together with other scientists. Her students and postgraduates will keep the kindest memory of their teacher.
She was a faculty person but also became a university person in many ways. She actively worked as a member of the SSU Academic Council and took part in all university projects and initiatives.
A bright, positive, loving and well-understanding person, Raisa Nazarova will forever remain in the memory of colleagues, staff members, and students of the Saratov State University.
The farewell ceremony for Raisa Nazarova will be held on July 29, at 10.00, at SSU Bldg. XVI Zauloshnov Street).
