Saratov University entered the 2020 TOP-20 Best Russian Universities List, according to SuperJob. SSU managed to get into the list of leaders in three directions at once: law, economic, and technical universities. The key criterion for evaluating educational institutions was the level of salaries of employed young professionals who graduated from academies, universities, and institutes in 2014-2019. Together with the level of earnings, the experts also took into account the average USE score of graduates and their desire to stay in their hometown after graduation.

Thus, according to the research, the average salary of young lawyers and economists graduated from Saratov University is 56 thousand rubles, while IT specialists earn on average about 80 thousand. Only 42% of graduates of the SSU Faculty of Law prefer to live in Saratov, the percentage of programmers is slightly higher – 52%. Economists are more likely to stay in their hometown – 64%.

The average score of applicants who entered the university law courses in 2014–2019 was 78.6 points. The same indicator at the faculties involved in teaching programmers was 76.9%. The average USE score for economists was 81.8 points.
