Saratov Region Camp Counsellor School will be held online from June, 22 to June, 27. Its moderators are Saratov University and the Saratov Region Division of the Russian Student Brigades, an All-Russian Youth Public Organisation. The school has been held for 16 years, this year it will be held online.

Students of colleges and universities of Saratov Region can sign up for the school. For six days, the future counselors will participate in online trainings and master classes on counselling activities, shift duration, and age characteristics of children. The programme is also devoted to other topics that will help the camp counsellors work successfully and adapt to the epidemiological environment.

The speakers will be staff members of Saratov University, representatives of the Russian Student Brigades, an All-Russian Youth Public Organisation as well as experienced counsellors and representatives of children recreation camps.

The aim of the project is to teach the basics of counselling skills, update the knowledge and experience of potential counsellors for the 2020 summer health campaign.
