As a result of the All-Russian contest of youth projects, Saratov University became the winner and received a grant for the III Forum of student teaching teams of the Volga Federal District. Among the universities of the Saratov region, SSU became the only winner of the project initiated by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs.

Saratov University can rightly be called a support university for the work of student teaching teams not only in the region, but also in the entire district, since it is on its basis that a truly large-scale student rally will be held for the third time this year. Over the past few years, fighters of student pedagogical units of SSU have shown a high level of professional training, participating in and winning competitions at the interregional and all-Russian level. So, for example, a year ago, a fighter of SPO “CHERRY”, a student of the sociological faculty, Julia Samykina became one of the winners in the district competition of professional skill among student teaching teams and won the title of "Best counselor-practitioner." Another equally important achievement of university fighters was a victory in the competition for the best detachment of the Volga Federal District three times assigned to the consolidated student pedagogical group Iskra.

This year, a competition of youth projects for the first time was held simultaneously for both citizens of the Russian Federation 14-30 years old and for educational institutions of higher education. In total, 2,214 applications from 352 universities for a total requested amount of 3.8 billion rubles were submitted to him.

Among universities, 377 projects from 177 universities for a total amount of 900,000,000 rubles were recognized as winners of the competition. Universities and institutes will be able to start implementing their ideas today, they need to complete the implementation of projects by December 20 of this year.

Recall that the forum that has become traditional for SSU is aimed at improving the quality of organizing summer vacations and improving the health of children in the Volga Federal District through improving the system of training qualified personnel as part of student teaching teams.

According to the organizers, this year the forum will bring together the 200 best representatives of open source software from 14 regions of the Volga Federal District. As part of a global meeting, counselors from various cities of the Volga Federal District will take part in a series of master classes, educational programs and workshops from leading experts in the field of pedagogy and summer recreation for children.
