On 14-15 September Saratov will celebrate its 429th anniversary. The city citizens and guests will be able to attend various events devoted to the event. Saratov University will actively participate in celebration, too.
25 SSU volunteers will help the moderators at different platforms. A 2nd-year student of the Institute of Chemistry, Deputy Chair of the Volunteer Centre of the Undergraduate and Graduate Council Kseniya Sharova will volunteer for the first time.

On 14 September the Saratov University platform will work in City Park from 11 a. m. till 1 p. m. There the people will learn about the studies and the entrance procedure to SSU. The project entitled the Interactive Content Management System will be presented by the participants of the development laboratory led by Associate Professor of the Department of Medical Physics Andrei P. Rytik. After the lunch the platforms will be moved to Volzhskaya Street.
Students of the Institute of History and International Relations will guide the people around the excavation sites at the annual festival of the historic re-enactment titled the Ukek. One Day of a Medieval City. The students will tell the Saratov citizens about the artefacts found during the archaeological internship.
Also from 5 p. m. to 6 p. m. at Chernyshevsky Square the Student Club members will sing and dance for our citizens.
