On June, 8th, there was announced a new version of Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings (QS) – one of the most well-known and authoritative international rankings. Saratov University has already been included into the list for 4 years, and it occupies a high place.
In the 2017-Rankings SSU holds the position of the previous year – from the 551st-600th.
In 2017 more than 24 Russian universities have been added into 1000 world best universities list with Lomonosov Moscow State University being in the lead among them and taking the 95th position.
The following parameters are crucial for the ranking: academic reputation, academic staff load, foreign students’ rate, employer reputation, and publications per one member of the academic staff proportion.
