Summer School 2011
Preparatory Department for Foreign Citizens of Saratov State University invites you to join the practical course of Russian language at Summer School 2011.
- Duration: August 1 - August 26. Classes are held from 9 till 12.30 am, the rest of the day is free time
- Groups for different levels. 8 international students in a group
- The course fee: 500 $. The fee is paid in a bank (in Russian rubles) upon arrival
- Certificates of course completion
- Visa support. The University processes invitation letters (20 $) which are necessary for obtaining student visas
Please note that international students arriving with tourist visas are not accepted by the University.
- Accommodation in a new dormitory of apartment type (kitchen, bathroom, fridge, 2-bed and 4-bed apartments). The dormitory is situated within 5-minute walk of the university. Accommodation cost: 50-70 $ per month.
- Application deadline: June 20, 2011
- Groups can be transferred from the airport to the place of accommodation (the cost depends on the number of people in a group)
- Railway fare to Saratov (one-way): 50-100 $
- Excursion tours can be organized upon request (for extra fee)
The programme includes:
practical grammar of Russian, video classes “Watching Russian films”, Russian Literature (reading adapted texts by Russian writers)
